Keeping the end in mind is a key element to avoiding the blues…especially the homeschool blues.
The day to day grind can really begin to make us feel stuck. Many days look the same and it often feels like we are not making any progress at all. Feeling stuck can lead to a feeling of hopelessness and insignificance. However, we all have choices and even taking advantage of those choices can help us to gain perspective.
The same is true of keeping the “end in mind.” When we know where we are headed, even the smallest steps made each day toward those goals can help us avoid the blues. I know that for me, even when I’ve had a day when I truly feel like I’ve gone backwards instead of forwards, knowing my desired end result helps me to refocus more quickly…and that makes for a happier me. 🙂
Today, on The End in Mind Podcast, we are discussing both the challenges and comforts that come with keeping our goals in mind and how doing so, helps us to continue to avoid the homeschool blues.
