This week we finish our three part series on Living with the End in Mind taken from our 2015 End in Mind Conference in Denver, CO
As I prepare to post this podcast, I’m in Denver, CO in the middle of tech week for Artios of Littleton‘s production of Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors. I just finished writing my director’s notes. I have had a week that felt like I was living my own private “comedy of errors” and at times it didn’t feel like much of a comedy. Nothing life threatening or earth shattering, just a lot of frustrating circumstances, chaos, and confusion. Fortunately, earlier in the week, I realized that I had a choice to make. I could laugh my way through the chaos or I could choose to be stressed. Finally, today, I chose to laugh my way through the challenges. Tomorrow is a long day of rehearsals and I want to enjoy the process, to stay present in the moment, and to illustrate the fruit of the spirit to my students…even in the stressful times.
That’s a little of what we are talking about in this podcast. Demonstrating the fruit of the spirit is part of becoming Christ-like, part of becoming conformed to the image of His Son. Oh, how my heart desires to be more like Him. OH, how I desire that for my children as well. That’s the “living with the end in mind” that we are discussing.
P.S. Great News!
The End in Mind Conference is coming to Atlanta, GA; Greenville, SC; and Denver, CO this year. Guess what! We have the dates and location for the Denver conference already confirmed. Mark your calendars now! More information will be coming soon!
