We love our readers. Each and every one of you!! Oh yeah, if you are reading this post in your feed reader or email, click here and come directly to our site. You’ll definitely want to comment on this post. Besides, our website is beautiful eye-candy, in case you haven’t seen it in awhile.

We have many many loyal readers and subscribers, yet we do not know you. We see you…our statcounter and our feedburner stats reflect the amazing amount of visitors we are blessed with…yet we know nothing about most of you.

So come out of hiding, we’d love to get to know more about you.

Beginning today we are hosting an official Heart of the Matter De-Lurk-A-Thon. Please leave a comment and tell us something about yourself…such as how long you’ve been reading HOTM, how you found us, how long you’ve been homeschooling, what method of homeschooling you use, etc. Tell us a joke. Or just simply say hey.

As an incentive to entice you to introduce yourself…we’ll be offering 3 free mp3 recordings from any of our previous conferences! Our next conference is September 19th and 20th. Our speakers include but are not limited to: Mary Prather, Ashley Wiggers, Jeannie Fulbright, Karen DeBeus, Lori Lane and more. So, come out of the shadows and De-Lurk today!

This promotion ends at 12 midnight EDT on Wednesday, September 18th.

  1. Hi! We just started our 4th year of homeschooling. Thanks for all the words of encouragement and wisdom. They have helped so much!

  2. I Have Been Reading Since The Beginning. i’m A Fellow Blogger And Don’t Always Have The Time To Comment. However I Love The Site And Enjoy The Articles.

  3. I’ve been reading here for a little over a year. We’re in our second year of homeschooling. Last year we used My Fathers World Kdg, and this year we are using Heart of Dakota’s LHTH and LHFHG programs.

  4. I’ve been reading for awhile (years?) and like it a lot. We’ve been homeschooling since 2004. I’ve graduated one in 2011 and started again in 2012 with my (then) 4yo. We use Sonlight P4/5 for Kindy with my now 5yo and have 2 tag-a-longs ages 3.5 & 2 using Timberdoodle & Sonlight P3/4. :)

  5. I’ve been reading for a couple of years, starting year 11 of homeschooling. I’ve got a junior and a freshman this year and high school seems to be taking over my life! I’m using Sonlight 20th Century with my junior, plus a bunch of other stuff she really wanted to do and Sonlight World history with the freshman. She’s taking a couple of outside classes as well to get her social fix with her friends.

  6. I’m Luke. I work at Sonlight. I’ve been reading/following for 4-5 years now…I think. I was homeschooled with Sonlight 1-8th grade. We did Sonlight P3/4 program when we had the girls for 9-months. And now I’m the guardian of an international student going to the public high school I attended.

  7. A fellow homeschooler forwarded some of your posts to our group. I liked what I read, so I subscribed. Now I forward some of your posts to our group. I have been teaching my kids at home for 17 years, and I have about 10 more to go.
